2015: New Year’s Resolutions

Hello again and happy new year!

Every year I make just one new year’s resolution in order to focus on it and make it achievable. This year, I’ve chosen resolutions that are probably a lot easier to stick by so I’ll be able to focus on all five of them at the same time.

1) Stop eating chocolate

I tried this in 2012 and it made my skin and body feel so much better so I’m going to do it again this year. It was difficult at first but you soon get used to it. I’m not going to go crazy with dieting because I think that diets can become obsessive and ultimately unhealthy, if I cut just chocolate out of my diet then I can replace it with a healthy alternative.

2) Make an effort with my updo’s

I never ever wear my hair up so I feel like I’m wasting all of the pretty hair accessories that I buy. I should start putting them to good use.

3) Manage money more effectively and prioritise spending

I’m generally good with managing my money but with numerous trips to London planned and my eventual moving out I need to up my game. I’m not going to worth myself to death but maybe I should stop going shopping as much?

4) Commit to studies and revision

Exams will creep up so quickly so it’s a good idea to apply myself while I still have time. Before I know it I’ll be off to university so I need to ensure I earn the grades I want for my first choice.

5) Dedicate more time to my blog

This is a difficult one. With work, family, sixth form and my social life it’s quite difficult to find time to write blog posts and take pictures for them. I’m thinking of having an allotted time each week where I work solely on my blog. I’ve put a lot of time and planning into my blog for 2015 so watch this space!

Thanks for reading!

  1. I wish you will accomplish all your resolutions. I used to write down my list some time ago, but then, when checking at the end the year, I often felt a bit frustrated / anxious about not getting what I wanted…
