After reading, here on WordPress, that MUA were having a very generous online sale, I decided to treat myself to some pieces. I only ended up spending around £7 before the standard delivery cost as all of the products were around 50% off or similar. Here are the products that I picked out…
‘Undress Your Skin’ Highlighting Powder
The first product I saw was this very feminine highlighting powder in Pink Shimmer, I chose this because the colour and shimmer looks subtle, I think this will really compliment my cheek bones. Is it just me who thinks that this highlighter would also double up as an adorable eyeshadow?
F11 Highlighting Brush
What’s a new highlighter without a new highlighting brush? This F11 brush cost me around £1 so I really couldn’t resist… The brush is so soft and small, it’s ideal for the minute details of your highlighting.
Next up, a nail polish in a deep purple shade naked Plum Noir. I always see MUA polishes lined up on a stand in the corner of my local Superdrug. However, at £1 I’ve always been skeptical about how great the quality is going to be. This doubt went out of the window when I found this little gem on the MUA website for just 40p! 40p! I couldn’t believe how cheap it was! If the quality is awful I’m not going to lose sleep over the expense. I can’t wait to see how this colour looks on my nails, berry shades are my favourite.
I’ve tried a nude MUA lipstick before and it’s now one of my favourites so I have very high hopes for this lipstick. The Peachy Keen shade reminds me of spring and bright bursts of colours so I think I’ll get a lot of use out of this one.
Thanks for reading!
