I’ve been doing quite a bit of shopping recently in preparation for my move to university. This has included mostly homeward and stationery shopping, although I haven’t bought all of my homely bits yet so there’ll be a post later on – perhaps in September.
I’m also taking a lot of stationery and books that I already own so I really didn’t need to buy that much in the end.
An assortment of colourful pens
I find it much easier to memorise and learn from my notes when they’re colour coded so I always make sure that I have plenty of highlighters and fine liners to aid this.
A monthly schedule
I already have a desktop calendar/planner but I thought that I would buy a smaller one seeing as my desk at uni will be smaller thank my desk at home. This one is also handbag friendly which could be useful.
A mini whiteboard
I’ve never owned a mini whiteboard before but I’ve heard a lot of people praising then for being helpful during times of revision and planning rough work. I thought I’d try it. In fact I’ll probably end up writing lists or reminders on it if I don’t use it for my actual uni work.
Writing this post has actually just reminded me that I need to buy a few more packs of these because I’ll need them for lots of different folders. Doh. TIP: I always buy plastic tabs as opposed to card tabs because the card ones rip and tarnish realty easily. The plastic ones last for ages!
I bought plenty of these files because I like to keep neat and finished work together. This will definitely prevent me from losing anything I’ve printed out at uni. These will also useful for storing all of the handouts that I’ll be given in class.
I already own so many folders so I only picked up these two from Ryman. I especially like these ones because they’re thing and won’t take up a lot of space in my room or bag.
Thank you for reading!
